Description

The ideal candidate must possess a thorough understanding of Google Ads Manager, with a specialization in YouTube advertising options, video marketing best practices, and the platform’s unique audience demographics. This position plays a critical role in overseeing a monthly advertising budget of $20,000, with the goal of enhancing our video marketing strategies to effectively grow our viewer base on YouTube and drive lead generation efforts.

Responsibilities:

Strategy & Planning:

– Develop and execute comprehensive paid advertising campaigns on YouTube utilizing Google Ads Manager for implementation, monitoring, and optimization.
– Utilize insights into YouTube’s algorithm and viewer behaviors to create campaigns that efficiently target desired audiences and meet marketing goals.
– Stay informed on the latest YouTube trends, algorithm updates, and advertising capabilities to ensure our strategy remains innovative and successful.

Execution:

Manage the setup and ongoing optimization of YouTube ad campaigns within Google Ads Manager, using formats such as TrueView in-stream ads, video discovery ads, non-skippable in-stream ads, and bumper ads.

Collaborate with creative and content teams to produce video content that is optimized for YouTube’s platform, aligning with the latest best practices for video engagement.

Execute rigorous A/B testing for ad creatives, targeting strategies, and bidding options to continually refine and improve campaign performance.

Analysis & Reporting:

Utilize Google Ads and YouTube Analytics to monitor campaign performance, analyzing key metrics such as view rate, click-through rate, and conversion rate to make data-driven decisions.

Produce and present detailed reports on campaign performance, offering insights, lessons learned, and clear recommendations for future campaign optimizations.

Employ analytics to gain a deep understanding of audience behavior and preferences, tailoring campaigns for maximum impact and efficiency.

Collaboration:

Ensure seamless integration of YouTube advertising efforts with broader digital marketing campaigns, working closely with marketing, sales, and product teams.

Explore and implement collaborative opportunities with YouTube influencers and content creators to enhance brand visibility and authenticity.

Share expertise and findings with the marketing team to cultivate a culture of innovation and continuous improvement in our approach to YouTube advertising.

Qualification

3+ years of experience in managing YouTube advertising campaigns through Google Ads Manager.

In-depth knowledge of video marketing strategies and Google Ads’ suite of tools.

Strong analytical capabilities, with a knack for interpreting data to drive strategic decisions.

Soft Skills:

Possessing a creative mindset with the ability to conceptualize captivating video content is essential for this role. 

Exceptional communication skills are necessary for effective collaboration across teams. 

The ability to adapt to the rapidly evolving landscape of digital and video marketing is crucial. 

Strong organizational skills, with a keen eye for detail, are required to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
