The IT Manager will have the crucial responsibility of guaranteeing the reliability, security, and efficiency of our IT systems and services. They will also be tasked with implementing and upholding best practices for IT operations. The ideal candidate for this role will possess robust technical skills, exceptional leadership abilities, and a customer-centric mindset.

Responsibilities:

Infrastructure Management: Responsible for managing and maintaining the company’s IT infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and reliability.

Systems Administration:

Oversee all systems administration tasks, including user account management, system configuration, software installation, and patch management, to guarantee seamless operation of IT systems.

Network Security:

Implement and maintain robust network security measures, such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and antivirus software, to safeguard the company’s digital assets from cyber threats.

Technical Support:

Provide expert technical support and assistance to end-users, resolving hardware and software issues promptly and effectively to minimize disruptions to business operations.

IT Strategy:

Develop and implement innovative IT strategies, policies, and procedures that align with business objectives and drive efficiency in IT operations to enhance overall organizational performance.

Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity:

Develop and maintain comprehensive disaster recovery and business continuity plans and procedures to ensure minimal downtime and maximum availability of critical IT systems and data in the event of unforeseen disruptions.

IT Compliance:

Ensure strict adherence to regulatory requirements and industry standards, such as HIPAA, GDPR, and PCI DSS, by overseeing audits and assessments to maintain the integrity and security of IT systems and data.

Qualifications:

– Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Master’s degree is preferred.
– Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT management or related roles, with a proven track record of success in overseeing IT infrastructure and operations.
– Proficient technical skills and knowledge of IT systems, networks, and security principles, including experience in systems administration, network management, and cybersecurity.
– Strong leadership and management abilities, with a talent for motivating teams to achieve goals and fostering continuous improvement.
– Experience in project management, including budgeting, resource allocation, and project monitoring.
– Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, Cisco CCNA, or Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) are advantageous.
– Familiarity with the ITIL framework and best practices in IT service management.
– Ability to adapt to shifting priorities and excel in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

This position requires a candidate with a solid educational background and extensive experience in IT management. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of technical expertise, leadership skills, and project management experience. Certifications in relevant areas are a plus, as is familiarity with IT service management best practices. The ability to adapt to changing priorities and thrive in a fast-paced environment is essential for success in this role.
